Nissy (the manager )and all of the staff at Victoria Lodge cared for my lovely Dad as a family themselves would have, with care, sensitivity, laughter and compassion. We often visited unannounced and always found it to be the same. Sadly my Dad passed away a few days ago but it really was an honour to spend his final day with him and the staff were all very supportive to the family when he did pass. The activity sessions taken by visiting experts were a highlight of VL. Dad enjoyed playing cricket and football and dancing ! Having spent thousands of hours playing cricket with Dad as children it was lovely to do it one final time. Dean who takes the singing group is a real stand out star entertainer. I'll never forget the Christmas party! The food was always home cooked and excellent. My mother and wife and I will actually miss visiting VL. The work they do is SO appreciated and valuable.

I cannot recommend Victoria Lodge highly enough. My Mother spent her last two years there, including during the COVID crisis. She was shown, kindness, compassion and the care she received from the staff was truly exemplary. Heartfelt thanks to all there.
My mum would not be alive today if it wasn't for the owner and all her Angel's, looking after her, it's a home from home and anyone lucky enough to be there will live their remains years un safety xxxx

I attended a great Christmas Party for residents and families. It was such a happy occasion. The staff had worked so hard and there was music and dancing. Really caring staff team and happy residents.
Excellent person centred care given. The manager is committed to a holistic approach and the results are there for all to see. Cannot recommend highly enough !
